Action is the debut studio album by the group alias Gipsy & Queen, and named after their 1988 song and single. The album consists of songs released under the Gipsy & Queen alias from 1986 to 1988 plus the new song "Electric Star". Released in 1988 by Time Records in Italy and Beat Box in Sweden, and on April 10th 1989 by Alfa International in Japan, the album was so far only released in vinyl and CD formats.
All but one of the tracks from the album were released as singles over a span of three years, albeit released on edited versions as opposed to the normal extended mixes except the megamix on both formats and the extended mix of the title track on the Japanese release.
