Alessandro Gilardi is a singer-songwriter and producer from Italy. In 1996, he started his work in Eurobeat by being an important writer at Delta, where he worked in a team with Valter Cremonini, Laurent Gelmetti, and Claudio Varola to create many popular productions. He also sang for the first two Mad Max songs.
He left Delta in 2000 and founded HI-Site with Claudio Varola, which continued until 2001. He sang many songs under that label.
He returned to Eurobeat in 2005 by singing and writting some songs at Akyr Music, mostly under the Jimmy Ray alias.
Then, from 2007 to 2008, he returned to Delta as an important writer. At this time, he sang four songs under the Jimmy Diamond alias and one as Romeo.
From 2011 to 2012, he wrote songs for Dima Music and sang in the one-off project The Frisbees. One of his rejected compositions at Dima, "Jumpin' Joy", was later produced at Delta in 2024.
Gilardi's third period at Delta began in 2022.
Fans know Alessandro Gilardi for his very aggressive vocals, the numerous songs that he has written, and his short-lived HI-Site label. He helped write most of Sara Righetto's songs.
