"Anniversary" is a song by Giancarlo Pasquini, Alessandra Mirka Gatti, and Elena Gobbi Frattini under their aliases Dave, Domino & Virginelle, respectly.
The song was made to celebrate the upcoming Super Eurobeat Vol. 100 and the new millennium. It was very popular and saw frequent reuse in non-stop compilations.
Certain short edits of the song are frequently used as the song's so-called "extended mix." However, the true extended mix is a rare version running 6 minutes and 28 seconds.
The Continued Chorus is only sung after the second time through the verse, pre-chorus, and regular chorus. There is also always singing During the Synthesizer Riff.
A Christmas Version exists that is almost identical, with only slightly changed lyrics.
In the 2000s, the J-Pop group Osaka Purin covered the song in Japanese, titled as "なんかちょうだい ~Please Give Me Something~". In 2018, it as covered again in Japanese, this time by EGG All Stars, released as "タピオカちょうだい! (Tapioka chōdai!)".
