"Nothing Changed" is a song by Giancarlo Pasquini under his alias Dave Rodgers. It is an English-language Eurobeat cover of the 1994 single "あの頃のまま" (Anokoro No Mama, "As It Was Back Then") by the Japanese Pop duo UB. The cover was released as the first A-side on a 12-inch promotional maxi-single by Avex Trax in 1994, which included another cover of "あの頃のまま" by Norma Sheffield, also titled "Nothing Changed", as the second A-Side, and a Eurobeat remix of "あの頃のまま" as the AA side. The Rodgers cover made its first album appearance on Super Eurobeat Vol. 52 - Extended Version on January 21, 1995. The cover was produced by Rodgers. In 2001, an acoustic duet version of the song was released, utilizing vocals from both the Rodgers and Norma Sheffield cover spliced together, and arranged by Seiji Honma.

[Intro]
Let's welcome the joy to come girl
Your love is what keeps me strong girl
Let's welcome the joy to come girl

[Verse 1]
You and I, thinking of all the times we spent together
Everyday seemed to me like awaking a dream
A picture of perfection
But gradually, as time goes by, seems your love lost its luster
With your eyes full of doubt
Your suspicions aroused, your voices so full of tension

[Pre-Chorus]
Recently you're been pouting, accusing me of unkindness
Tell me, how could you believe
I would ever hurt you so please listen to what I say

[Chorus]
I will protect you
Don't you forget it
Your love means the world to me girl
You are my angel
Nothing will change that
Your love is what keeps me strong girl
Love is forever, time is a healer
Let's welcome the joy to come, girl
Deeper and deeper, sweeter and sweeter
Together we'll build a future that lasts

[Verse 2]
Losing sight of the precious things that made us special
Pretty quarrels all day
See our temper are frayed
Rejection and depression
Clever words and conversation won't save us from this heartache
There's a far better way of expressing ourselves
I'll hold you oh so tightly

[Pre-Chorus]
We're both been playing games, let's give this fighting a rest now
Turn our backs on the past
We'll forget all the pain, the good times are here to stay
