"Away" is a song by Giordano Gambogi under his alias Mr. M. Produced in 1998, the song was first released as a non-stop version in the mixed compilation album "Super Eurobeat Vol. 96 - Non-Stop Mega Mix" on March 25, 1999; while the extended version was released 22 years later on "Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Battle Stage 3" on March 5, 2021.
However, this release had many controversies since the song was released in very low quality, it wasn't until 2 years later that the extended version was released in good quality by Delta in the album "Music For Lonely Drivers - Extended" on September 25, 2023.
The song was composed and written by Luca Pernici together with Lucio Boiardi Serri, in the lyrics; and Giordano Gambogi, in the composition. It was also produced by Sergio Dall'Ora with Giacomo Maiolini.

- The extended version of the song featured in the soundtrack album of the named OVA, "Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Battle Stage 3"; however, is a noticeably low quality and encoded with lossy compression; this happened because, for unknown reasons, Avex decided to use a version uploaded in YouTube by the channel T.I.M.E. and compress it for its album release, instead of using the original files that they had at their disposal, this also happened with "Eternity" by Denise in the same album.
