"Beat Of The Rising Sun" is a song by Giancarlo Pasquini under his alias Dave Rodgers. It is an English-language self-cover of the 1998 song "Puzzle" by the Japanese boy band V6, which was originally composed by Pasquini, Jennifer Batten, and Sandro Oliva. Pasquini self-cover of the song made it first appearance in the anime adaptation of Initial D First Stage on December 5, 1998, before making its first album appearance in Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D ~D Selection 3~ on January 1, 1999; then the song was released together with "Saturday Night Fever" on a 12-inch single by A-Beat-C on June 22, 1999, which later was ripped and released digitally on April 22, 2022. In the middle it was released a digital single by Avex Entertaiment Inc. on several dates between 2008-2019.
In 2020, Pasquini covered the song at Dave Rodgers Music.
