"Burning Love" is a song by Maurizio De Jorio under the alias D.Essex. Produced in 1994, the song was first released in a Vinyl single released by A-Beat-C on July 19, 1994, then a remix by Midi-Wave and Yokota & Co. was released together with "Gorky Park" by Chester on a promotional vinyl released by Avex Trax on the same year, later the song was released in Super Eurobeat Vol. 52 - Extended Version" on January 21, 1995.
The song was written by the Hinoky Team and produced by Bratt Sinclaire. However, Dave Rodgers produced the Euro Version featured on the original vinyl single.
In 1994, the song was covered by Namie Amuro with Super Monkey's under the new title "ハートに火をつけて (Light Your Heart On Fire)".
