- Not to be confused with Chemical Love (John Desire Song).
"Chemical Love" is a song by Davide Budriesi and Clara Moroni under their aliases Kevin & Cherry. Produced in 2005, it made its first album appearance in Super Eurobeat Vol. 167 on April 19, 2006; then it was released together with the other three songs ("Disco Energy" by Bombers, "Ding A Ling 2006" by Jilly, and "Yeah!" by Christine) in a vinyl maxi re-release of that album, made by Avex Trax on July 11, 2006. Years later, the song was released as a digital single twice: First on January 24, 2019; and again on August 21, 2022; this last was as part of Eurobeat Masters Singles series.
"Chemical Love" was composed by Laurent Gelmetti with Matteo Rizzi, and written by Clara Moroni. The production was led by Gelmetti, under his alias Laurent Newfield, and Moroni.
Lyrics[]
[Intro]
Gimme, gimme...
Gimme, gimme...
Gimme, gimme...
Gimme, gimme...
Gimme, gimme, Chemical Love!
Gimme, gimme...
Gimme, gimme, Chemical Love!
Gimme, gimme!
[Verse 1 - Davide]
If you only knew
If only you'd see what I've been through
Still willingful of waiting for you
Tell me, could this be love?
[Verse 2 - Clara]
How will I know?
Will my heart make me believe it so?
Or do I have to trust in the way I feel?
If I could read your mind
[Pre-Chorus - Both]
I wanna live my life!
Live in the way I feel, don't waste it
Life is a party, let's make it hot
Don't ever stop the music!
[Chorus - Both]
Gimme, gimme, Chemical Love!
Gimme, gimme, virtual visions!
Life is meant to be a big fun
Turn the volume up to hear the music get loud
Gimme, gimme, Chemical Love!
Gimme, gimme, virtual visions!
Life is meant to be a big fun
Turn the volume up, the music get loud!
[Verse 3 - Davide]
I feel it's true
That real love, it's longer than life
But you don't understand I can't hide
The feeling I've inside
[Verse 4 - Clara]
I'm so unsure
Is it the real love knocking at my door?
Or is it the sound of my beating heart for you?
Tell me, could this be love?
