- Not to be confused with Dancing (Macho Gang Song) or Dancing (Priscilla Song).
"Dancing" is a song by Clara Moroni under her alias Vicky Vale. Produced in 1995, it was first released in a vinyl maxi-single by Delta in 1996, then it made its first album appearance in "Super Eurobeat Vol. 67" on May 22nd of that year. The song was written, composed and produced by Andrea Leonardi under his alias Bratt Sinclaire.
A remix made by Y&Co. was released together with a T.Y.M. P-Team remix of "Love For Sale" by Drama and a Y&Co. remix of "Yesterday" by Cherry in a Maharaja Night promotional vinyl maxi-single by Avex Trax in 1996.
Due to Leonardi's dismissal from Delta, since 2008 the song's license has been transferred to SinclaireStyle together with many other songs produced and/or written by Andrea Leonardi at Delta.
In 2022, Moroni covered the song again under Delta Music Industry with Steven Z. and Laurent Newfield remixing the song.
Lyrics[]
[Intro]
Cool vibrations
[Evil laugh]
I wanna dance
[Evil laugh]
I wanna dance
Cool vibrations
I wanna dance
I wanna dance
I wanna dance
I wanna dance
Go! Go! Go! Go!
I wanna dance
Go!
I wanna dance
Go!
I wanna dance
Go! Go! Go! Go!
[Verse 1]
Deep inside, the beating goes louder when I'm
Not alone on the dance floor
Feel alive, I'm feeling the power getting
Hot the phones by the back door
[Pre-Chorus]
Get up tonight, make up your life
And bring it on since the light has gone babe
No way to hide, today you'll find the answer
In your heart
[Chorus - repeat twice on second time]
Dancing we wanna feel the light is flashing
I send the power to myself
Dancing we gotta dance until the morning
I send my kisses to my friends
[Verse 2]
Hey, come on, the next seven hours are for
You and me in the disco
Play that song and speed up the run
You gotta move and live, feel the beat now!

- Dancing was featured in Act 11, Act 12, and Act 13 of Initial D and in the TV Special Initial D Excite Battle Special. It was also featured in a Broadcast commercial of Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D ~D Selection 2~.
- According to Bratt Sinclaire on his "How I Made It" video of the song:
- The "Cool vibrations" voice was made by an Unknown Rapper in Maverick Studio in Milan. Bratt liked his unique voice so much that he recorded the intro for two songs: "Dancing" by Vicky Vale, and "Do Yo Need Me" by Slow Motion, a Techno song. Both recordings were made the same day.
- But recently it started to be believed that it could be the Italian rapper Andy Omokaro.
- The synth of the intro was made with a Clavia Nord Lead synthesizer.
- The chords are similar to the song Tora Tora Tora by Domino.
- The "Go!" voice was made by Fausto Guio and is a sample from the Techno song "High Voltage" by MMM ft. Lady Lust.
