David Essex (mostly of the times shortened to D-Essex or D. Essex) was an alias used by Maurizio De Jorio. He started to use it when he joined to A-Beat-C, where he made a total of 9 songs between 1991 and 1995; that year the alias was moved to Delta Music Industry together with De Jorio and Andrea Leonardi, where he made other 12 songs between 1995 and 2005, all of them produced by Leonardi. Because of this, all the songs of the alias made at Delta now belongs SinclaireStyle since 2008.
The song history of David Essex was very successful, many of his songs became very popular, specially "Boom Boom Fire", "Burning Love", "Tokyo Tokyo" and "Thank You Arigato". Others, such as "Take Me To The Top" and "Max Power", became popular for their appearances in Initial D.
