Delta (also known as Delta Music Industry or DMI) is a Eurobeat label founded by Clara Moroni, Laurent Gelmetti, and Andrea Leonardi in 1995. They are also known for making the Delta Ultimate Collection and Eurobeat Masters compilations.
Around 2007, Andrea Leonardi was fired from the label, he founded SinclaireStyle and took with him the rights to most of the songs he produced and/or wrote at Delta and transferred them to his new label. As such, these songs are listed separately.
In terms of catalog numbers, the vinyl singles have numbers starting from DELTA 1001 and increasing based on vinyl release order. The digital Eurobeat Masters Singles have numbers starting from DMIEMS001 and increasing based very loosely on release order. The actual songs themselves are not known to have their own catalog numbers. However, their ISRCs are widely known and generally reveal the exact place in the production order a Delta song is.
Therefore, the famous Leslie Parrish song, Save Me, has a vinyl single with a catalog number of DELTA 1035, a Eurobeat Masters Singles catalog number of DMIEMS015, and an ISRC of IT-B11-96-00066. As there is no true catalog number for the song, the ISRC can be used to determine that Save Me was approximately the 66th song produced at Delta, though this includes non-Eurobeat tracks.
Since recent years, Delta started to own partial or totally the rights of other Eurobeat labels with the aim of distribute their catalogues digitally, these are: Akyr Music, NickTheBeat Music, Hot Pepper Records and Time Records.
