On June 12, 2019, the song was re-released as a digital single by Avex Trax, which was made available on various streaming and audio distribution services.
"Gas Gas Gas" was written by Francesca Contini, composed by Sandro Oliva and produced by him together with Alessandra Mirka Gatti under her alias Domino.
A re-edit of the song made by DJ Gun was originally included in a vinyl maxi release of the named album by Avex Trax on December 8, 2007, alongside three other songs: "Blood On Fire" by Go 2 & Christine, "NRG" by Go 2, and "I'm Alive" by Jay Lehr. Furthermore, on April 3, 2008; a remix of the song, also by DJ Gun, was released on the maxi-vinyl titled "Super Eurobeat Vol. 183 + Chozen ParaPara!! #05", which also featured three other songs: "Viva La Noche (HMX Remix)" by Christine feat. Elvis El Latino, "Gunfire" by Matt Land, and "Crazy Race On The Street" by Garcon, all released by Avex Trax.
In 2019, Giancarlo Pasquini made a cover of the song under his alias Dave Rodgers. Later in 2025, Pasquini would made a new cover with the original vocals of Manuel.
