The song was written by Claudio Accatino, Federico Rimonti, and Roberto Festari, with production credits going to Accatino and Rimonti. Additionally, Festari made additional arrangements to the song under his alias Nick "Turbo" Festari, and Eddy Van Addams provided the guitars. The cover sleeve was designed by Sandro Milan.
The song was released on a 12" vinyl single in 2000, by Live Music and Hi-NRG Attack in Italy, alongside "How Yeah" by Franz Tornado. "Go Nakata" made its first album appearance on Super Eurobeat Presents Euromach 3 on February 16, 2000.
