- Not to be confused with Gunfire (Matt Land Song).
"Gunfire" is a song by Mauro Farina under his nickname Mark Farina. Produced in 1990, it was released on January 4th of the same year on a 12-inch LP single by Asia Records in Italy, followed by the Mini CD release by Alfa International in Japan on May 25th of the same year. It later made its first album appearance on the Japanese promo compilation album 一押しくんが行く!Ichioshi-Kun Ga Yuku Vol.06 on May 1990, and is also featured on Farina's debut studio album Big. The song was written by Farina, Giuliano Crivellente, and Claudio Accatino, and produced and arranged by Farina, Crivellente, and Florian Fadinger. Editing and sampling were handled by Laurent Gelmetti under his alias Laurent G. Newfield, and mixing was done by J.J. Nesty. It was recorded at Factory Sound Studio. The extended version is dubbed the "Explosive Mix".
Farina covered the song again in 2004, this time under the new title "New Gunfire" by Mark & The Factory Team. This version featured new vocals, new instrumentation, and faster arrangement, but largely retaining the lyrics.
Lyrics[]
[Verse 1]
Keep on walkin'
Oh what a feeling
Just we're gonna have a party
Dancing on the ceiling
Keep on dancing
The sound is higher
Everybody clap your hands
And thrilling by desire
[Pre-Chorus]
Screaming all the night for pleasure
Everybody lose control, just we lose control
You can't stop the fever of
My love, and always grow!!!
[Chorus]
Gun Gunfire
Not a mad desire
it's not danger for you
Gun Gunfire
Happiness no liar
Everybody move and feel the beat together oh oh oh
[Verse 2]
Come on playing
This game together
You and me, we're hoping
That this love will last forever
Give me a loving
I'll get you stronger
With my fire love oh baby
I will make you wonder
