"Holy Night" is a song by an unknown Japanese female vocalist under the alias Michelle. It was written by Avex's founder, Max Matsuura, Tatsuhiko Fuyuno (most commonly known under the alias 2nd Funk-Tion), and Yasuhiko Hoshino (who is known under the aliases Maximizor, Starr Gazer, and Dino Starr). The song was also produced by the three, but it was credited to Avex Trax. It was mixed and recorded at Hi-BPM Studio and stands as one of the earlier homegrown Eurobeat tracks produced in Japan during the Super Eurobeat era.
Released in 1991 on a 12" single in Japan by Avex Trax and Hi-BPM Studio, it was also released on an 8cm Mini-CD single on November 25, 1991. "Holy Night" made it's first album appearance on Super Eurobeat Presents X'Mas Night on October 25, 1991. In 2000, the song was re-released on a promotional 12" vinyl alongside "Kill The Silence" by Domino and "Anniversary" by Dave, Domino & Virginelle. The latter track was remixed by B4 Za Beat.
