"Japan Japan" is a song by Mauro Farina under the alias Alphatown. It was released on February 2, 1990, as a 12-inch single in Italy by Asia Records. Later, it was released as both a Mini-CD single and Mini-CD maxi-single by Alfa International in Japan on April 25, 1990. The track made its first album appearance on the promotional album 一押しくんが行く！Ichioshi-Kun Ga Yuku Vol.05 in April 1990 and later on Alphatown's debut album Japan (1990). The song was written by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente, and produced by Farina, Crivellente, and Florian Fadinger. Mixing was done by Laurent G. Newfield and Roberto Stoppa, with recording and mixing at Factory Sound Studio.
In 2019, the J-Pop grupo MAX covered the song in Japanese.
