- Not to be confused with the Vibration alias of the same name.
Karina was an alias used mainly by Elena Ferretti, with the exception of its first song "Hidi-Ho... Dance With Dolly", which was sung by Anna Gotti in 1985.
In 1999, the alias returned with Elena Ferretti providing the vocals. The alias was the one of the most frequently-used that year. This time, the trademark of the alias was that the vocals were often heavily pitch corrected and filtered. Over time, however, this distinction faded such that by the last released song, "Rock Girl", Ferretti's vocals sounded just like they would have if she had sung under a different alias. At the time, the alias had little popularity; only "Sunshine Dance" had a vinyl release, and even then it was the last track on that record.
