"Like A Summer Rain" (later renamed to "Falling In Love") is a song released under the alias Max Coveri, with two distinctly different versions featuring vocals from Roberto Gabrielli on the vinyl release, and Massimo Brancaccio on its album release. It was produced around 1990 and released that year as a vinyl maxi-single by Italian Company Records, which was misprinted to "Toc Toc" by Mistery; later it was included on Max Coveri's second album on April 26, 1991.
The version performed by Gabrielli was never meant to be released, as according to him, it was a demo that he recorded for Brancaccio to see if he could sing on other tracks. Somehow, this early version reached the pressing plant, then pressed as vinyl single, while the final version, performed by Brancaccio, was first featured in the album "Max Coveri (1991)". The demo is longer than the final version, since Gabrielli's version is 6:51 and Brancaccio's one is 4:41; furthermore, the final version has a more clean production and arrangement; and some changes in the lyrics.
The actual producers were never credited, but it's inferred that Laurent Gelmetti produced the track, with Severo Lombardoni possibly being an executive.

Gabrielli's Ver.[]
[Verse 1]
Watching to the sun goes down
I saw my future now
Another time, another place
Where lovers live their life
[Verse 2]
Leave your troubles behind
What can make me stronger?
If you stay by my side
I can have a surprise for you
[Pre-Chorus 1]
When around there's something strange
Your heart beats just like mine
So close your eyes, and try to fight
A better world will come
[Chorus]
Like A Summer Rain
Our tears are falling
Who could wipe it?
Fly me to the moon
No other measure
By my I love it
It's a brand new day
That we are living
Don't destroy it
Wanna stay with you
You got me, baby
Don't forget it
[Verse 3]
Empty beds, all empty rooms
It don't seem to be unreal (?)
And drive me to some outer space
Where people is always clean (?)
[Verse 4]
I will start a new life
And we'll touch the dangers (?)
If you could see me now
A lion roars towards the high life
[Pre-Chorus 2]
When the beat of the night has fade
The dream comes to you and I
I found myself here once again
I deal with all the night

[Verse 1]
Watching to the sun goes down
I saw my future shine
Another time, another place
Where lovers live their lives
[Verse 2]
Leave your troubles behind
What can make me stronger?
If you stay by my side
I could have a surprise for you
[Pre-Chorus]
When around there's something strange
Your heart beats just like mine
So close your eyes, and try to find
A better world we'll got
[Chorus]
Like A Summer Rain
Our tears are falling
Who could wipe it?
Fly me to the moon
No other measure
But I love it
It's a brand new day
That we are living
Don't destroy it
Wanna stay with you
You got me, baby
Don't forget it
[Verse 3]
Empty beds, and empty rooms
It don't seem to be unreal (?)
Drive me to some farther space
Where people's hard work clear (?)

I will start a new life
And I'll leave out the dangers
If you could see me now
A lion runs to the high life

The vinyl release of the song was completely mispressed, using the exact same jacket and labels for "Toc Toc" by Mistery. The only difference between the two records is the matrix number IC 004, while the one of "Toc Toc" is IC 04 90. The single was never repressed again, and remains mispressed.
In the vinyl, the song was also listed as "Toc Toc" with its writers, producers, copyright marks, etc; for purposes of this page, the title was changed to its actual name.

Trivia[]
- On the Max Coveri album, the song is mistakenly titled "Falling In Love", possibly a mix up with the song "Falling In Love" by Hascher, also sung by Brancaccio.
- In addition, the lyrics to Falling In Love would also be published in the booklet instead of the lyrics to Like A Summer Rain
- The actual name of the song wasn't released until somewhere in the late 2000s, with Roberto Gabrielli and Laurent Newfield confirming the name
- This would be the only Max Coveri song to feature vocals from Gabrielli.
