"Music For The People" is a song by Giancarlo Pasquini under his alias Dave Rodgers, featuring special guest Jennifer Batten on guitars. It was released on September 20, 1995, on a 12-inch maxi-single by A-Beat-C in Italy and later included on Rodgers' fourth studio album, Take Me Higher (1997). The song made its first album appearance on Super Eurobeat Presents J-Euro Original Collection Vol. 2 on December 10, 1995. The song was written by Sandro Oliva and Alberto Contini, composed by Giancarlo Pasquini with Jennifer Batten, with production, recording, and mixing by Dave Rodgers.
The song was covered a total of five times. First, on November 1, 1995, the Japanese boy band V6 covered the song in Japanese and released it as their debut single under the Avex Trax label. Pasquini covered the song three times under the same alias, one was a rock version made under Sun Fire Records released on August 4th 2010; later he covered it again on November 6, 2019, and in 2021, both under the Dave Rodgers Music label. Both of these covers feature his ex-wife Alessandra Mirka Gatti and son Federico Pasquini under the aliases of Domino and Kaioh, respectively. Additionally, on August 25, 2013, the song was covered in Spanish by the Venezuelan voice actor Fernando MƔrquez as "Fermark".
In 2024, it was released an old Demo version of the song, tagged as "Demo Tape People Rough Mix", which was performed by the "Dave Rodgers Band".
