"My World" is a song by Elena Ferretti under the alias Sophie. It was first featured on Sophie's debut album of the same name. The single was initially released in Italy by Time Records on 1989, and in Japan by Victor as a Mini-CD release on June 7th, 1989. The single was written by Mauro Farina, Giuliano Crivellente, Federico Di Bonaventura, and Stefano Comazzi, with production credits going to Giacomo Maiolini. Additionally, Farina and Crivellente arranged the song, and Laurent G. Newfield recorded and mixed the song at Factory Sound Studio.
Yōko Ishino covered the song in Japanese on the same year as "Kissまで待てない -My World-". Ferretti covered the song again in 2006.
It is the first time Ferretti sang under the Sophie alias and would remain so for 17 years until its last release.
