Niko was an alias used by Maurizio De Jorio between 1997 and 2009, originally at Delta; later it was moved to SinclaireStyle in 2007, and since 2008 all songs under the alias belongs to that label.
He is most known for his hit-single "Night Of Fire", which was and is still extremely popular. Some of his others well-known songs are "Made Of Fire", "Speedway", and "Pilot Is The Hero".
This alias faded from use as Maurizio De Jorio began to use the Dejo alias instead, with which he was able to sing as himself. So, Edoardo Arlenghi stopped modeling for Niko as well.
As Niko, Arlenghi's likeness appeared on vinyl covers, and he attended the fourteenth Gold Disk ceremony in 2000 to perform Night Of Fire and accept an award for the song. The latest known time Arlenghi performed was for the 2004 Night Of Fire music video.
Maurizio De Jorio still performs his old Niko songs live, now under his main alias Dejo.
