Oda was an alias at Delta Music Industry used initally by Maurizio De Jorio, between 1998 and 2004; later Luca Torchiani would took the alias for the last two songs.
The alias is an anagram for the British band "Dead Or Alive" (DOA). This was because Gelmetti and Gabrielli, the composers and songwriters of the firsts Oda's songs, are fans of that band, so every song of the alias was made with almost the flavor.
The alias is mosly known for their tracks "Shy Gun", which became very popular at the time; and "Sex Crime".
