"Para Para" is a song by Alessandra Mirka Gatti, Chiara De Pieri, and Elena Ferretti under the alias King & Queen. Released on March 16, 1994, as a 12-inch single in Italy by Double Rec. (Contini E.M. & R.), it made its first album appearance on the promotional album NRG Express 94' 8 on July 21, 1994, and later made its Super Eurobeat debut on "Super Eurobeat Vol. 49 - Extended Version" on September 21, 1994. The song was written by Giancarlo Pasquini, Alessandra Mirka Gatti, Alberto Contini, and produced by Pasquini and Andrea Leonardi under their respective aliases, Dave Rodgers and Bratt Sinclaire. The song's title and meaning are derived from Para Para (パラパラ), which is a synchronized dance most commonly danced to Eurobeat music.
A remix made by Red Monster and T.Y.M. was released in a Vinyl single by Avex Trax in 1994, and later the song was released together "Rock 'N Roll Superstar" by Mike Skanner and "Burning Love" by D.Essex in a Vinyl release of "ParaPara Paradise 3" also released by Avex Trax on June 1, 2001.
