Music, music and...music!
PATRIZIA PIOLA was born in Mantua on December 24, 1972.
Her first performances date back to when she was eight years old and sang "NON LO SO", the Italian version of the famous "ON MY OWN", with which she won her first competition.
The following year, her second recording, entitled "UNA NUVOLA STRANA", arrived, with which she reached the finals of the Ercole d'oro.
From this moment on, her participation in various events and on private broadcasters became more and more frequent.
She began playing the guitar and taking dance lessons, first classical, then jazz.
In April 1983, she was a regular guest in a series of shows broadcast by a private TV station, filmed in a disco, alongside VIOLA VALENTINO, ALEX DAMIANI, ANNA OXA and LINDA LORENZI.
It is also the year in which she records two new songs: "SAI CHE TORNERO’" and "TU MI VUOI BENE", awarded as best unreleased song at Cantiere Musica.
She was also a guest at ANTENNA 3 LOMBARDIA in a program with TEO TEOCOLI and GIORGIO FALETTI.
1984 arrives with her participation in the Castello d’oro in favor of UNICEF, she comes in second with “VOGLIO SCEGLIERE UNA STELLA”.
It is the first time that her voice appears on a children’s album.
In 1985 she participates in the AMBROGINO D’ORO in Milan, filmed by RAI 2 with the song “FIGLI SIAMO NOI” by G. REITANO and subsequent album.
In the first months of 1986 she attends a course for models.
Her style and voice become more aggressive; she records “REMEMBER ROCK AND ROLL” whose English version is included in the compilation FIOR DI LOTO distributed by DISCOMAGIC, with the same song she reaches the final of the Conchiglia d’Oro.
In the same year she records with other artists from Mantua “UMANITA’” included in the 45 rpm MANTUA FOR WORLD distributed by DISCOMAGIC whose proceeds go to CARITAS.
Later she records "CHARACTER" an aggressive rock and "I KNOW MAGICA" perfectly dance,...it is 1987.
The evenings to which she is invited become more and more numerous, even far from her province. To broaden her repertoire she records “I JUST CAN’T WAIT” by M. Smith and the classic "SEPTEMBER MORN".
In mid-1989 a turning point occurs! She joins the vocal and instrumental duo LE MILLE E UNA NOTA and enters the music of piano bars and café concerts, with many evenings under her belt.
In the meantime, she is often requested in the recording studio as a backing vocalist. In 1991, as a soloist, she recorded some dance albums for the Japanese market under the pseudonyms of DOMINO and PATTY SUN, produced by ROGERS RECORD & EDIZIONI CONTINI.
But you never forget your first love! For her shows, she returned to rock and recorded two new songs "I LOVE ROCK AND ROLL" and "MY LITTLE HERO" with which she participated in numerous evenings with MANGO, GABRIELLA CARLUCCI, MIA MARTINI, FRACESCO SALVI, PIPPO BAUDO, RIGHEIRA, JOVANOTTI, CARMEN RUSSO and KATIA RICCIARELLI.

EXCERPT FROM "LA CRONACA " DI MANTOVA.
Patrizia's artistic history begins a long time ago, her memories are lost in a childhood spent among dolls, guitars and microphones. A passion that at 18 years old pushed her to put her diploma away and become a full-time singer. Not only good but also eclectic.
An interpreter who knows how to adapt naturally to various musical genres almost playing with her voice. For Patrizia from Mantua, music has always been much more than a hobby; a true love. A natural instinct that at just 8 years old, in 1980, brought her to the recording studio for the first time to record children's songs. Patrizia has a voice that is not only perfectly in tune but above all excellently educated. A voice that strikes and fascinates from the first listen, light, clear yet powerful, velvety and sensual, but also rough and decisive, if the occasion requires it. She has had no shortage of good teachers among the rock and blues musicians of Mantua. Already at a very young age she gained a lot of experience in live music as part of the miscellaneous music group “Le mille e una nota”. Despite then, an intense recording activity made up of “energy” songs for Japan, recorded for Rogers Record and for Dima/Emi with various pseudonyms: Patty Sun, Betty Blu, Kinzica with which she has reached the top of foreign charts several times. Patrizia plays and sings alone, voice, guitar and bases, she can also proudly say that she is her own manager and manages time and commitments independently. Patrizia has a very vast repertoire, and her autonomy live is almost unlimited.
