- Not to be confused with Right Now (Go Go Girls Song).
"Right Now" is a song by Gianluca Barbieri and Stefania Martin under the alias Dark Angels. It was the first song under the alias and the only until its return 19 years later. Produced in 2003, it made its first album appearance in "Super Eurobeat Vol. 147" on April 21, 2004. Later it was released as a digital single as part of Eurobeat Masters Singles on July 29, 2024.
There are three versions of this song, the normal version (sometimes credited as "Euro Power Mix"); a second version called "Eva Mix" which was first released in the album "Stefania Martin Collection", which is currently Lost Media, and later on its 2024 single; and a third version, titled as "Original Mix" in the single, which was first released by Delta's YouTube channel on November 4, 2015, this one having a very extended intro.
Lyrics[]
[Intro]
I am a box, I am a screen
I'm every nightmare every dream
I am the window over your land
(SO TURN ME ON AND TAKE MY HAND)
[Verse 1]
Watching you, watching me
You don't know how you've betrayed me
Can't find myself, lost in your lies
(I NEED TO TRUST MYSELF AGAIN)
[Pre-Chorus]
Uh oh oh, uh oh oh, uh oh oh...
(I GOT TO GET AWAY)
Uh oh oh, uh oh oh, uh oh oh...
(THERE'S NOTHING YOU CAN PRAY)
For so long
(I wanna feel the pain, I wanna live again)
I've been in love
[Chorus]
(runaway, runaway, runaway)
I wanna heal! I wanna feel!
'Cos nothing is real, inside!
Deep in my head, don't be afraid!
Erasing your fears, Right Now!
I wanna heal! I wanna feel!
The pain is real, you wanna leave me alone!
Over the future! Over the past!
Wasting my time, Right Now!
[Verse 2]
I am a box, I am a screen
I'm every nightmare every dream
I am the window over your land
(SO TURN ME ON AND TAKE MY HAND)
[Outro]
(Wasting my time, Right Now)

Trivia[]
- Right Now was featured in Act 8 of Initial D Fourth Stage and Initial D Arcade Stage 5.
- The lyrics of the intro were almost pulled out from the 1996 metal song "The Box" by the Canadian metal band Annihilator, while the chorus may have an inspiration by the song "Somewhere I Belong" by the American rock band Linkin Park.
