"Secret Love" is a song performed by Makiko "Maki" Ishizaki under the one-off alias Nutty. Produced, written and composed by Kosuke Saito as Kors K. in 2004, the song made its first appearance on Act 6 of Initial D Fourth Stage on August 21, 2004; later it was released in the album "Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Fourth Stage D Selection +" on November 17th of that year.
Background[]
In 2004, Kosuke Saito had the opportunity to make three songs for Initial D Fourth Stage ("All Around" and "Sky High" by Lia, and this one, "Secret Love"), of which he only arranged two, both by Lia; while Secret Love was totally made by him. At the time, he made some demos for the song, so he asked to one of her friends and classmates at the music school, Makiko Ishizaki, to perform them, to which she accepted and ended up being the singer in the final version.
