"Soft Time" is an Italo Disco/Eurobeat song by Elena Ferretti under the alias Sophie. It was first featured on Sophie's debut album My World (1989). The single was initially released in Italy by Time Records in 1989, and in Japan by Victor as a 12" Vinyl and Mini-CD release on November 21st, 1989. The single was written by Mauro Farina and Giuliano Crivellente, with production credits going to Giacomo Maiolini. Additionally, Farina and Crivellente arranged the song, and Laurent G. Newfield recorded and mixed the song at Factory Sound Studio.
Red Monster remixed the song the following year.
