"Space Invader" is a song by Giancarlo Pasquini under his alias Dave Rodgers. Produced in 2005, the song was first released in "Super Eurobeat Vol. 161" on September 28, 2005, then it was released together with "Hi Hi Mazinga" by Bombers, "Money Funny Dollars" by Bazooka Girl and "Revolution" by Fastway in a vinyl released of the same album, released by Avex Trax on November 17.
A remix made by Y&Co. was released together with "My Heart Burns Like A Fire (Y&Co. Mix)" by Lolita as part of the vinyl album Super Eurobeat Presents 12" Collection Vol. 5.
There are 2 versions of this song, the "Friday Version", which was released in the SEB album, and the "Saturday Version", released on the "Super Eurobeat Presents Dave Rodgers Special Collection Vol. 3" album, which featured a different riff. There is also a Japanese version of the song called "Like A Space Invader", which, in production terms, was produced first but released in 2008 in the same Special Collection album, meaning that that was the original version which was rejected by Avex.
