Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Second Stage D Selection 1 is a Eurobeat compilation album and the sixth Initial D soundtrack album. It is also the first and only compilation album for Initial D Second Stage. The album was released on December 1, 1999, by Avex Trax under the Super Eurobeat Presents. It consists of Eurobeat songs from the first nine acts of the anime, while songs featured after Act 9 were later released on "Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D Super Euro-Best".
The album peaked at number fifteen on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart with 30,620 units sold in its first week. It remained on the charts for a total of 10 weeks.[1][2]
