Super Eurobeat Presents Initial D ~D Selection~ is an Eurobeat compilation album released by Avex Trax under the Super Eurobeat presents series on July 29, 1998. It is the first Initial D soundtrack album, consisting of songs from the first eight Acts of Initial D First Stage.
The album peaked at number twenty-three on the Oricon Weekly Album Chart and remained on the chart for 17 weeks.[1] The album was certified Gold by the RIAJ in January 1999 for exceeding sales of 100,000 units.[2]

Trivia[]
- To fit more all 15 tracks on one CD, almost all track lengths were truncated, making them a bit longer than the standard SEB length, but not close to their full versions. Only "Heartbeat" was included on its extended version.
- The first track is the first eyecatch soundfile of the First Stage, which was included inside the "Space Boy" track. Later, the second eyecatch soundfile is used at the end of Track 15 to close the album.
- Track 15 is a remix of Initial D's first opening song, "Around The World" by the Japanese band M.O.V.E.
- There was an announcement of this album on the booklet of "Super Eurobeat Vol. 85" in which credits the song "Scandal" by Candy Taylor as the third track of this album, but then the song was not featured in the series or the album, in the final release the track was replaced with "Be My Babe" by Jilly[3].
- In the Obi, there is an announcement for the first soundfile album of the series, Initial D Sound Files Vol. 1.
