"Supersonic Fire" is a song by Claudio Magnani under the alias Atrium. It was produced and released in 1996, first in a vinyl maxi-single by Time Records; followed by making its first album appearance in "Super Eurobeat Vol. 75" on February 26, 1997. The song was written, composed and produced by Sergio Dall'Ora; with Luca Degani, in the composition; and Giacomo Maiolini in the production.

This was Magnani's first song under the alias since Gino Caria departed from Time Records due to his failing health.

In 2007, Giordano Gambogi covered the song under the alias of Mike West.

Lyrics[]

[Intro]
Woah oh oh! Supersonic Fire!

[Verse 1]
Set me down, set me free
Set my heart on fire
Set me high, let me be
Passion of desire
Loving, loving baby, come on I'm so ready
Come on, into your fire

[Pre-Chorus]
Yeah!
I fly for your desire
A wing of fire
I control my body living in the sky!

[Chorus]
Woah oh oh! Supersonic Fire! (Fire! Fire!)
Is a danger for me, baby please, set me free
Take my flame and my desire! (desire!)
Woah oh oh! Supersonic Fire! (Fire! Fire!)
Is the game that I need
Let me fly, let me be
And my body is on the higher! (Higher!)

[Verse 2]
Take me high, take me out
Tell me you're in action
Let me see what you need, all my love reaction
Holding kissing baby
Tell me you're my lady
Come on, you're my desire

Trivia[]

  • Supersonic Fire was featured in the OVA Initial D Battle Stage, as the Opening theme and during the Takumi Fujiwara vs Keisuke Takahashi impromptu battle.
    • It is the first song featured in the Battle Stage series.
  • All versions of the song ends in a fade-out. However, the version used in the Battle Stage OVA has a different ending.
  • The choir part of the chorus, the "Woah oh oh!" part, was sampled and used as part of the other Atrium's song "Night In Tokyo", also performed by Claudio Magnani.
  • There is another song called "Supersonic Fire", cataloged in the SIAE with the code T-005.148.878-8, which was also made by Sergio Dall'Ora but with Michele Vanni. It is unknown if it is other song which was never released, or it's Atrium's Supersonic Fire.
