- The song is about Initial D, featuring some references to it.
- "Shibukawa" it's a city located in the extreme northwest of the KantÅ Plain, in the center of landlocked Gunma, Japan. Place were Takumi Fujiwara lives and the Akina/Haruna mountain is placed.
- "Sprinter" is part of the name of the "Toyota AE86 Sprinter Trueno".
- "Mount Akina", mountain based in Mt. Haruna in real life, in Initial D is the mountain where Takumi Fujiwara uses to do his diary tofu delivery.
