"Why Not?" is a song by Daniela Rando under the alias Melody.
Avex was dissatisfied with Andrea Leonardi's original version of the song, henceforth called Version 1.
Avex wanted the song to have a weaker synthesizer riff and more prominent background elements. So, Leonardi made a new version, henceforth called Version 2, for the song's release on Super Eurobeat Vol. 118.
See below for which albums these two versions appeared on. Version 1 is generally agreed to be the best version, representing Leonardi's original intent for the song. It is now the most widely available because it is the one today sold by the SinclaireStyle label itself.
The song was released together with "Da-Du-Ri-Dan" by Suzy Lazy, "Dangerous" by Madison, and "Come And Go" by Za-Za in a vinyl single released by Delta in 2001.
