- In the first draft of the song, it was just called "MF Ghost", later it was renamed to "Your Life To Destiny (MF Ghost)"[1].
- As the name says, the song is based in the manga-anime MF Ghost. However, the song is more about racing in general, but it has some direct references to it in the lyrics:
- "My "86" is pulsin' with me" referring to Kanata's Toyota GT86.
- "Time to set up your wings", this is more an Initial D reference, referring to the "Wing Aura" that had Takumi Fujiwara in Initial D.
- "Dreams to follow and a father to find" referring to one of the aims of Kanata Rivington in the story, find his disappeared father.
- This is the second song which was "MF Ghost" in the title, the other is "MF Ghost" by Dave Rodgers.
